We have all been there.  You go to the doctor, they give you the HIPPA release information, disclosures, etc.  It is dull and we are generally uninterested most of the time.  Children are no different, if not more uninterested than adults.  However, the information is important and it is part of the counseling process to introduce the information.  This workbook is provided to make it a little less painful, and to give the child something to do as you discuss information with them. It also gives the therapist a guide to help wade through the information.

The workbook includes confidentiality, expectations for treatment, a brief overview of how counseling will be beneficial to the child, and helps to identify some basic skills to get started, such as 3 coping skills for when the child has strong emotions.
